Chelseai Cunningham
Sr. Hubert
Chelseai began her artistic voyage at the tender age of three, singing on a tree stump in her great-grandmother's front yard for her family at every gathering. Throughout her grade school matriculation, she tried sports and other extracurricular activities, but nothing quite made her feel the way music did. She made the decision She went on to attend the Stax Music Academy, where she found her love for performing! Chelseai Cunningham arrived here in Nashville to attend the illustrious Fisk University in 2016. Her freshman year she auditioned for the world-renowned ensemble The Fisk Jubilee Singers. That year she made the group as an apprentice, but after re-auditioning her sophomore year she spent the rest of her college career as a traveling singer. During her time at Fisk, she was a Jubilee Singer, but she also starred in several theatre productions, including Mr. Chickee's Funny Money, The Wiz, and The Colored Museum. Allison Truman
Sr. Leo
Allison is very excited to make her return to the circle players stage after having the joy of being in their production of Rocky Horror two years ago. Nunsense holds a special place in her heart as it is the first show she ever saw her mother perform in, roughly 23 years ago. She is very proud and excited to play the role of Sister Leo, which is the same role her mother played. This is also Allison’s first stage production she’s been in in roughly 6 years that ISN’T Rocky Horror…trading the fishnets for a habit certainly is...a difficult transition (don’t worry you’ll understand that joke by the end of the show)!
Sawyer Latham
Male Swing
Sawyer Latham is an actor native to Nashville. He’s excited for the opportunity to work with Circle Players again. His past work with Circle included Newsies and Priscilla! Queen of the Desert! He hopes you enjoy the show and he hopes everything goes well so you don’t have to see him on stage.

Jim Manning teaches Technical Theater and Film Studies at University School of Nashville and designs sets for several theater groups in the area. He also directs shows like 'Angels in America," 'Newsies," 'Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," "Dog Sees God." and "All Shook Up." HIs original works include an immersive theater experience entitled "The World's a Stage" and a dance-based version of Romeo and Juliet featuring the music of local bands. Onstage, some favorite roles include Howard from "Moon Over Buffalo" (Best Featured Actor), Will Parker from "Oklahoma!" (Best Supporting Actor), and Puck from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" (Best Actor). It's been over a decade since Jim did a musical, and he's hoping he still remembers how.
Leon Blandon, III
Sr. Hubert
Leon Blandon is excited to be on stage again with Circle Players! Although it’s been over 3 years for a performance with this company, he was last seen in Civil War, the Musical as Benjamin with Street Theatre Company. This cast (both) is amazing and I hope you find this production uplifting as we get back to normal!
Barrett Thomas
Sr. Robert Ann
Barrett has been #blessed to appear in a dozen shows in Nashville, including faves Legally Blonde (Warner), South Pacific (Lt. Cable), and last season’s The Rocky Horror Show (Dr. Frank N. Furter). Performing is a leap of faith, and Barrett would like to thank the holy trinity of encouragement: his family, his sisters/misters in the habit, and the entire Rocky fam.
Michael Walley
Sr. Amnesia

Some of his recent credits include Esther: A New Musical (Chaffin’s Barn), Minnie Pearl: All the News from Grinder’s Switch (Chaffin’s Barn), Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (Nashville First Baptist Church), and Smoke on the Mountain (Three Rivers Theatre Company.)
