Steven Griffin
Jason
Steven is so excited to be a part of bare! The character of Jason is one of his dream roles and he is so happy to have the opportunity to perform it. This is Steven's second show with Circle Players. He previously played the role of Dave in Dreamgirls earlier this season. Other theatre credits include Link Larkin in Hairspray, Troy Bolton in High School Musical, Vittorio Vidal in Sweet Charity, and Doody in Grease. Steven also attended Tennesssee’s Governor's School for the Arts in 2013 for musical theatre. He plans to attend college next year and pursue a BFA in musical theatre. Steven would like to thank the cast and crew of bare for making this such a fun and exciting experience; his vocal coach, Katharine Ray, for her fantastic training and guidance; and his friends for their unending love and support.
Christian Redden

Christian is ecstatic to join Circle players once again! Christian was last seen with Circle Players in Next to Normal (Gabe). Other favorites include 13 the Musical (Evan), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (John Quincy Adams), and Spring Awakening (Georg). He would like to thank his friends and family for being ever supportive, and the cast and crew for their incredible commitment and talent.
Harley Seger

Harley is so excited to make her debut with Circle Players. She is finishing her sophomore year at Christ Presbyterian Academy where she played Dorothy for the third time in the spring musical The Wizard of Oz. Recent and favorite roles include Margot in Legally Blonde, Becky Thatcher in Tom Sawyer, and Sandy in Grease. She has performed in theatre since age eight in many productions in the Nashville area. Harley has also had the opportunity to work as a studio vocalist and back-up singer. She wants to thank her family and friends for all their support!
Rachel Jackson

Rachel is a senior at Dickson County High School and will attend Millikin University this fall to pursue a BFA Musical Theatre degree. Some favorite previous roles include: Reno Sweeney in Anything Goes, Queen Aggravain in Once Upon a Mattress, The Cat in the Hat in Seussical, and Margot in Legally Blonde.
Mike Cahill

Mike is thrilled to make his Nashville debut with Circle Players. Recent credits include performing as a member of Company 2014 in Awake (Belmont), John Utterson in Jekyll and Hyde (N.V. Theatre) , and Johnny in The Outsiders (N.V. Theatre). Mike is studying Commercial Music at Belmont University and has also trained at Acting Studio Chicago. He sends special thanks to the amazing support of his friends and family, especially to his sister Ellie.
Leon Blandon

Leon is excited to work with Circle Players again. Bare, A Pop Opera has brought him back. He is thrilled for the opportunity to present his characterization to the role and production. Leon’s recent productions include Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, Dreamgirls, One Flew over the Cuckcoo's Nest, Band Geeks, The Color Purple, Prayer Changes Things, Faith is the Key, Thank God it’s Sunday, and Too Blessed to be Stressed. Serving as Props Manager for Circle’s Players’ The Piano Lesson allowed Leon a chance to also hone his craft off stage. Each role Leon is afforded is an opportunity to showcase his gifts, talents and passion for theatre.
Samantha Myers

Samantha is so excited to perform in bare for her first production with Circle Players and in Nashville. Samantha graduated last May from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale with a B.F.A. in Music Theater. She recently moved to Nashville to pursue music in every form. Some of her show credits include Reasons to be Pretty (Carly), Rent (Mimi), Chicago (Liz), Steel Magnolias (Shelby), Irving Berlin's White Christmas (Rita), Macbeth (Lady Macduff), and Oklahoma! (Laurey). Samantha would like to thank everyone who has encouraged her to follow her dreams-- “you know who you are! Enjoy the Show!”
Erica Patterson

Erica is a Communications major with a concentration in Theatre at Tennessee State University. Bare is her third show with Circle Players. Other credits include Trial by Jury (Angelina), Dreamgirls (Charlene), The Fantasticks (Lusia), The Color Purple (Olivia, Nettie u/s), Parade the Musical (Angela), and A Raisin in the Sun (Ruth). "I am so excited to be working with Circle Players again. I would like thank my family for supporting me in all that I do."
Emily Whitlow

Emily is thrilled to be back with Circle Players for this amazing production! You may have seen her as Teen Fiona in Circle’s production of Shrek the Musical. She is a junior at Ravenwood High School and a Long Island native, but grateful to be here in Nashville after relocating two years ago. Other favorite roles include Dolly Levi Hello, Dolly!, Ilse Spring Awakening, Amber Hairspray, Patrice 13, and Woman 1 Songs for a New World. She'd like to thank her friends and family, but especially her mom and dad for supporting her in whatever she does. A very special thanks goes out to the entire creative team, cast and crew for the opportunity to be in this amazing show!
Amanda Smith

Amanda is a homeschooled senior in high school. In her free time, she likes to read, knit and crochet. She has previously performed as Mrs. Julia Gibbs in Our Town, Betty Rizzo in Grease, and Annie Sullivan in The Miracle Worker. Next fall, Amanda will attend Maryville College, where she plans to major in biology and minor in theatre. She will also participate in Maryville’s “Scots Science Scholars Program” this summer. One day, Amanda wishes become the female version of James Herriot. She would like to thank Heather for casting her in one of her “bucket list” shows, and her sissy for making her feel good about herself in the most inappropriate ways possible. She also thanks Circle Players for putting on such an important musical.
Jarvis Bynum

Thrilled to be returning to Circle Players, Jarvis is a senior Theatre Performance Major at Austin Peay State University. His first show with Circle was One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest as Aide Williams. Other credits include Dark of The Moon (John) and Twelfth Night (Feste). Jarvis is happy to work with a great cast and crew and put together this awesome show!
Melissa Garner Campbell

Melissa is excited to perform with Circle Players for the first time. She has recently appeared in the ensemble of The Nashville Opera's Otello (Nashville Opera), Sophisticated Ladies (The Larry Keaton Theatre) and "Molly" in City of Light (The Boiler Room Theatre). She has also performed as a soprano soloist with The Seminary Orchestra and Oratorio Chorus in Louisville, Kentucky. Melissa is a passionate and creative voice and piano teacher, has taught with the Union University Community Music Center in Jackson, Tennessee, and now teaches at Harpeth Hall School. She holds a B.M. Summa Cum Laude from The Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, Florida, and an M.C.M. and Performer's Certificate in Vocal Performance from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky.
Annie Bloemer

Annie is a junior at Vanderbilt University in the College of Arts and Sciences. She recently performed in the musical Bloody, Bloody Andrew Jackson (Ensemble/Soloist) in Sarratt Cinema. She is a member of the student-run organizations Vanderbilt Off-Broadway and the Vanderbilt Performing Arts Council. Annie recently appeared in Spring Awakening (Martha) and Reefer Madness (Mae Coleman) and directed Grease with Vanderbilt Off-Broadway. She also appeared in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (Snoopy) and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona Peretti) in the Jeanne Spurlock Theatre. Other performance credits include Footloose (Vi Moore) and All Shook Up (Sylvia) with Theatre in the Loop Entertainment and Into the Woods (Witch) with Paradise Players. She would like to thank her family for all of their love and support.

Chad David Webb is honored and grateful for the many opportunities to work not only with Circle Players, but all the venues in town that support the arts in the Middle Tennessee. Brittany Maultbay

Brittany attends Austin Peay State University, where she studies Theatre Performance. She hopes to one day have a career in children’s ministry and children’s theatre. Her past roles include Mrs. Allen in Dark of the Moon, Paulinka in A Bright Room Called Day, and a wife/chorus member in Lysistrata. Bare will be her first performance in Nashville and her first musical since high school. She is incredibly excited to make her debut with Circle Players.
